Among the biggest pain points facing software companies is creating engaging content that expresses their competitive differentiation. So many of the advertisements produced by tech companies and shared on social media consist of contextless screen recordings of their product, or executives awkwardly speaking in front of a camera.

Cintri’s UI Animation Commercial is an attempt to disrupt the status quo for software advertisement.

When the Cintri team created this capability, we sought to learn lessons from how other industries produce advertising. The consumer goods industry, for instance, is so well-practiced in content creation, we as viewers don’t think twice when consuming their advertisements. Regardless of the products being sold, consumers now expect the level of quality and engagement they might see in a Dyson commercial..

We asked ourselves: How do we bring that same exciting flavor seen in consumer goods commercials to the software industry? How do you make software products look engaging?

The Cintri design and animation team scripted the concept, then developed wireframes from scratch and transformed them into UI screens. From there, the team created a fully animated environment. Everything you see, from the desk, computer, tablet, phone, chair, and keyboard, to the shadows on the walls are animated. Next, the team strategically placed animated UI screens into this environment. Animation inside of animation. Giving the UI screens a 3D effect allowed for the placement of unique textures on the screens, like ripples when buttons are clicked or nodes are dragged.
